Hydraulic-cylinder experiment

VRML scene of the experiment

An assymetric hydraulic cylinder moves a heavy load. Fluid flow into the cylinder chambers is distributed by solenoid-controlled spool valve.

The are no interactive elements in the scene.

Control objective: To move the mass to the prescribed position.

Control of the mass position graph:

• Top slider - controls the destination position of the mass
• Bottom slider - moves the X axis ( time )
• Left slider - moves the Y axis ( position of the mass )
• X zoom In/Out - zoom in/out X axis (time)
• Y zoom In/Out - zoom in/out Y axis ( position of the mass )
• Reset zoom - sets zoom parameters to default
• Track time - when checked x axis moves with the experiment simulation time
• Show grid - shows grid

• Red - destination position of the mass
• Green - actual position of the mass
• Blue - center for zooming in the Y axis
