An irreversible reaction of type 2A to B between liquids A and B occurs in the open tank reactor. The flow of the component A through the inlet valve can be controlled continuously by the red wheel. The concentration of the component B is indicated by the bar on the left-hand side of the scene. The outlet flow rate from the tank is determined by the level of the liquid in the tank.

Control objective: To control manually the inflow of the component A such that the concentration of the component B reaches the optimal target value 6 reference in the shortest time and then it should be held at this value. This experiment aims at explorative learning of nonlinear system dynamics.
